What our guests are saying:

" Gavin was extremely welcoming and although I arrived at approx. 11.00Am he was happy to make a cooked breakfast as I had been up since 4am. He then kindly took me to the Ivy Rooms where my brother was playing in the world Billiard Championships. The Red Setter is located centrally in Carlow on Dublin Street and is within easy walking distance of a number of bars and places to eat. The rooms were clean, comfortable and had free wifi. The breakfast offered a choice of cereals, fruit and fruit juices along with full cooked breakfast plus tea/coffee and toast. I would recommend the Red Setter as a central, welcoming, value for money B&B and would certainly return in future as it is a good base from which the see the surrounding area. "
